The one-day road trip from London to Birmingham was filled with the autumnal hues in the countryside, and the city itself had much more to offer.

These colourful stripes along the pavements in Birmingham run through the city. Following these lines will lead you to turn a corner and join on to a lamp post, of the same colour.
